fotografr Posted July 18, 2018 Share #1 Posted July 18, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) We have numerous squirrels running around our yard but this is the only one I can get close to. She took the pecan right from my fingers and when I'm in the garden she follows me everywhere. My wife is worried that it's going to follow me into the house. stuny Posted July 18, 2018 Share #2 Posted July 18, 2018 Terrific, and among the best squirrel photos I've seen. Your wife's concern is well founded - They can do a lot of damage. One of the places where Barbara and I do our early morning speed walk has at least a few squirrels that must have been fed often by people since they approach us closely and hopefully. The squirrels in Battery Park at the southern tip of Manhattan and in Washington Square park also behave that way. Once a Brice Canyon a ground squirrel was bold enough to climb my clothing in hopes of a handout.
fotografr Posted July 18, 2018 Author Share #3 Posted July 18, 2018 Thanks, Stuart. That's an amazing story about having one climb your clothing. Maybe I should be a bit more cautious. I took pity on this particular squirrel because she's much smaller than the other squirrels and is usually chased away from the food sources in our garden. North / Northwest Posted July 20, 2018 Share #4 Posted July 20, 2018 Nice image Brent. I'm a soft touch with squirrels also.

abrewer Posted July 21, 2018 Share #6 Posted July 21, 2018 I don't know any squirrel poems, but it's still a great photograph with that wonderful lens
