romualdo Posted July 16, 2018 Share #1 Posted July 16, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've just finished a roll of Tri-X (developed myself) on my recently acquired iiig On two pics only (sequential, #13 & 14 of the roll & of same object - I've posted one of them) I can see odd lines running from top to bottom (horizontal or vertical - depends on your view?) - these were taken with a 15mm CV. The next day I took more pics of the same object, this time with a 35mm f2.8 Summaron - no abnormality evident (these were near the end of the roll) Both days were bright/sunny (Western Australia winter's day). Interestingly none of the other pics in the roll showed the same effect, only the two (one of which is shown) Any ideas? Thanks in advance Welcome, dear visitor! mikemgb Posted July 16, 2018 Share #2 Posted July 16, 2018 Ragged edges on the shutter curtains, these will generally show up at higher shutter speeds. I had the same issue on my IIIa, I had the shutter curtains replaced.

Cheers Mike thought it may have had something to do with high shutter speeds as i remember taking those shots (with anomaly) at 1000th sec This was a test run for the newly acquired camera so shutter curtain replacement will be on the list of TTD
