The base of the Custom House Tower (with the clock) was originally built in the mid 19th century with the tower being added in 1913, becoming Boston's first skyscraper. Although once the home of US Customs, it is now the Marriott Custom House Hotel and timeshare.

The Flour and Grain Exchange was completed in 1892 and was the original home of the Boston Chamber of Commerce until the Grain Exchange took over in 1902. It is now just a run of the mill, albeit historical, office building.

They make for some very interesting contrasting architectural styles - especially on a delightful summer's day.

Thanks for taking a look.
