I do like the clean, geometrical feel of this. Just a suggestion, but do you have any cropped off  "spare"  on the RHS of the image which could be included to improve the left/right symmetry?

You are, as usual, correct.  I do like asymmetry like in some high-performance Tires, but not here.  Retaken as I have the unit on hand 🙂

Thanks John

SONY A7RII with Elmarit R 35mm f2.8 - And here is my Swiss B77 Revox (in my mind the Leica of Tape Recorders back then) I had a G36, with Tubes, prior to this, unfortunately no images of it.

Preben, I'm very envious of your Revox.  I very much agree about their build quality: one of those products where, if you accidentally drop them down a flight of stairs,  there's a good chance that they would still be working at the bottom!

I keep thinking about buying a 4 track B77 Mk2 low speed version or a TEAC A3340S deck but then I remember I have a rebuilt Nakamichi three head cassette deck, which I never use, so how much would I use a B77 or a TEAC? 😀

You are not alone! I still have my old three-head Tandberg. Can' let it go. Unfortunately sold the tube McIntosh units along with my much loved Magnepans many years ago.

I'm not sure that the stairs would be in as good a shape as the B77!!! 🙂  It weighs a ton, and the G36 double that.  I gave my matching Amplifier and FM receiver to a Hi-Fi enthusiast but I couldn't quite separate me from this one, yet, even if it might not be working any longer 🙂
