aha yes, i reduced the contrast on the flower, because the background was blurred into oblivion anyways :) i though it looked more elegant for the flower to stand out in a "softer" way, rather than the usual look one gets with extreme blurred backgrounds

Thanks for your nice answer. It has something more from a painting for met than a photoraphy. It's an other way seeing our world.

I like the transition from great sharpness (not the razor sharpness from modern sense - constructions) to unsharpness. Fro the SL my favourite R- Lenses are the Apo 100mm (and the Apo 3,4/180mm). "Crying" for colours in the Lockdown this spring in our garden - it was "soul food" for my eyes.

Here I used the 100mm/full open/1:2/handheld.
