lct Posted July 4, 2018 Share #21 Posted July 4, 2018 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Ah - now I get you. You mean the magnified area. Yes, although I would probably not use the feature. Nice but too slow. I would still prefer focus-recompoe. But then it is sometimes difficult if not impossible to nail focus due to focus shift and/or field curvature, reason why this feature is useful to complement focus-recompose IMHO. RomeoBravo Posted July 4, 2018 Author Share #25 Posted July 4, 2018 (edited) Yes - I’ve added a few more shots (as requested on DPReview) taken at f8 of textured surfaces. I didn’t add the shots here due to the 500k limit. I posted them there, and on my Flickr album. https://www.flickr.com/gp/romeobravophoto/2gW14b To my eye (on my 42”4K monitor) the Summilux TL on the Leica CL is superior. I’m truly impressed by this combo. It’s making me think I might sell my Zony 55/1.8. bernie.lcf Posted July 4, 2018 Share #26 Posted July 4, 2018 Well, for one there is a significant different tone in the pictures. The CL + 35/1.4 is about the same price as the Sony A7RM3 + 55/1.8. If you like the Leica pictures better, then there isn't anything else to say. Technically, I don't think they are... but what does that matter anyway?
