TL2 1.4 firmware function button

Recommended Posts

There is one setting missing as well, that was available in firmware version 1.2. It is not possible to assign the the function to switch between LCD screen and EVF anymore. It seems to be that this funktion was removed.

For me, having an easy ability to toggle to MF (for finicky low light AF abilities and to have focus magnification assist), AND also have Exposure Comp easily accessible on a dial is the holy grail.

This firmware upgrade accomplished that for me, although I wish I could use the Fn button to toggle between Manual and AF (single) and use the Left Dial for EC. It’s the other way around... Big improvement nonetheless.

The Left wheel on my TL2 will not work if I attach a manual focus lens (it's darkened). I need it to enlarge the focus area for more precise focusing. Anyway I can set it to work like my T?

Any help will be much appreciated. :)

You need to add 6 items on the new left wheel menu; one of those can be the edge/magnify function.

NB: Set button only works when you have exactly 6 items.

My question :

Any way to set exposure comp in place of ISO on the right wheel in AE mod ?
