Well what's in the bag today is a chrome M8, 21 CV M mount, 24 Elmarit ASPH, 28 Elmarit ASPH, 35 Cron ASPH, 50 Cron, 75 Cron APO/ASPH and a lowly Tele-Elamarit 90/2.8. Along with 3 extra batteries, 3 extra SD cards, Expodisc, QR plate, cable release, lens cloth, SD card reader (one that came with the Lexar Pro x133 cards [NOT very good and only works sometimes] ), 1.25x Mag, +1 diopter, extra rear lens caps, normal front lens caps, SB 600 with a better bounce card and all the detachable hoods for the lenses that use them.

It all fits in a Lowepro Nova 4 AW except the SB 600 which is hanging on the shoulder strap in it's own case.

What might be in the bag tomorrow would be a M3 or Black M8 and a Cron-C 40/2. I need to cut the Cron-C bayonet mount so it brings up the 35/24mm frame lines.

CV 15 & 21; elmarit 24; 'cron 35 asph; Rigid 'cron 50; lux 75; apo 90

At Solms: lux 50 asph and, for a repeat visit, lux 35 asph

Least used on M8: CV 21 and apo 90, but CV 21 delivers nice results with M7

Most used: 24 and 50

Most practical: 35 cron

That special "wow" factor:75 lux

The Leica bag (a Domke F6) is looking like this....so far:

M8

CV 15/4.5 (used a 9cm LTM mount, self-coded; filtered w/o-ring) + CV 21mm finder

Zeiss 25/2.8 (swapped Zeiss 35mm lens mount and self-coded it)

CV 35/1.2 Nokton (self-coded)

CV 50/1.5 Nokton (self-coded)

Leica 75/2 AA (one of Guy's former lenses....working for me, but with a bit of backfocus)

Leica 50/1.0 Noctilux....voucher purchase...hopefully arriving soon.

extra batteries, 4GB SD cards, a Megaperls 1.35x diopter corrected eyepiece, cloths, Visible Dust brush, Rocket blower, WhiBal card, model release forms, biz cards, notebook and that is about it

LJ

P.S. Most used right now is a tie between the CV 15/4.5 and the CV 35/1.2, but the 75/2 AA is closing in ;-)

Not always in the bag at the same time, but for my M8 I have:

CV 15

CV 21

Zeiss Biogon 25/2.8

Zeiss Biogon 35/2

Zeiss Planar 50/2

Leica Tele-Elmarit 90

I generally have the CV 15, Zeiss 25, and Zeiss 50 in the bag. The Zeiss 25 lives on the camera most of the time.

Now I guess I "need" a 75.

Well, the old and new, with DOBs are

28mm Elmarit Asph ('06)

35mm Summicron ('79)

50mm Summicron ('80)

90mm Summicron ('82)

135mm Tele-Elmar ('69)

I tend to favor the 50mm cron, but they have all got their chance to play.

M8 chrome with Summicron 35 asph chrome new (my default)

Summicron 35 (I bought it with an M4 Canada in 1977)

Summilux 50

Summicron 90 (might sell it)

M8 black with Elmarit 90 chrome (much sharper than the 90 cron)

Looking for a wider lens... Would love a Summicron 28 asph, if I could find one and I had the money.

I looked at a WATE today.. lovely... but £2,500!

Curious about the CV15, price is right... but what about the vignetting, and does it come ready for use, or do I need adaptors, etc.?

Ok - I'm using two bags, the Billingham Leica bag for when I don't want to lug everything around and the Billingham press bag for general use.

M8, MP, M6 LHSA

15/4.5 CV - no filter

21/2.8 ASPH - non coded, no filter

28/2.8 ASPH - w/filter ( want to move up to the cron - this lens is too harsh)

35/1.4 ASPH - favorite lens on all bodies - most used lens

50/1.4 ASPH - Away to Solms for warranty work since March 3.

75/1.4 - Vacationing with the 50 in Solms

Sold - Noctilux in June, also TriElmar 28-35-50 last week.

Wants:

28/2.0 ASPH

50/1.4 BP
