This is number 7 of a new series I am working on called 'Urbanity'. 'Urbanity' is defined by the Oxford English Dictionary as the banality of urban life - it is the ordinariness of everyday life , the things we see every day but we don't see.

Leica M9 with 50mm Zeiss Sonnar f1.5. Processed in LR Classic and Color Efex Pro4.

I think you will either like it or hate it!

Thank you Shlomo. It doesn't suit every subject, but I do intend to explore more. It is so out of the box for me though.

Fascinating interpretation. Normally I wouldn't like it but yours does have that "je ne sais quoi". Urbanity yes, Banality no !  As I continue to look at it..

 Thank you Shawn!

I agree, while the subject and location meet the criteria of ordinariness for urbanity, the colors are far from banal. So I guess I would  say that the colors call attention to the ordinariness of the scene so you have achieved your objective.  Look forward to more....yes.
