I have a hard enough time getting an in-focus shot using the 75mm or 90mm f2 wide open. I can only imagine the needed precision for f1.25. Unless one is using the EVF I would think you almost need to have the body and lens adjusted to one another.

Most of the images with this lens are going to be "ha, I nailed focus!"

All images shot with the M10, with the OVF.

I did shoot some with the EVF, but my camera started freezing so I had to revert to the OVF.

The size and weight seem less of a hassle than I thought initially, but it’s still the largest amongst the noctilux siblings

What a nice encounter at the end of the day. Basilio is not only a very friendly person but also has a beautiful voice. Basilio is a banduryst.

See here: http://www.encyclopediaofukraine.com/display.asp?linkpath=pages%5CB%5CA%5CBandurysts.htm

Bandurysts or kobzars were wandering folk bards who originally composed and performed their own lyric-epic historical songs in the recitative style and later added songs of various other genres (religious and humorous songs, dance melodies) to their repertoires, which were passed on to their students. Bandurysts were held in high esteem by the Zaporozhian Cossacks, as well as by the general populace. Hetmans and members of the upper nobility often kept bandurysts at their courts.

Poetry slam has become a big phenomenon in German culture. See here: https://kiezpoeten.com/engagement-auftraege/kiezpoetry/

Poetry slam, originally an American invention, has become an important part of German literature- and event-culture. Every year, the German-Language National Slam championship is one of the biggest literature events in the world, with several thousand people in the audience. Berlin can be regarded as a poetry capital: Every month, more than 30 regular poetry slam take place in bars, theatres, and cafes and universities, not counting innumerable open mic nights and stage readings. A broad diversity of poetry styles and event formats have developed, making each Poetry Slam a unique and authentic Berlin experience. The German poetry slam scene has overtaken the US scene, with poets travelling throughout the country, learning and sharing from each other and bringing the art of spoken word even further.

It may have to do something with the cultural heritage of the country. When it comes to German history, the obsession with Nazism has blinded many to Germany as the 'land of poets and thinkers.'

Already in 2014, only at the age of 20, Max Gebhard became well established in the German poetry slam scene. His poems are well thought out and he delivers them eloquently to engage people in the social and political issues of our times.

The 24 year-old Nick Poetter belongs to the best slam poets in Germany. Nick does not read his poems, he performs them. His rhymes and lyrics flow with a poetic intelligence that reminds one of Ancient Greek poets.
