Advertisement Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Hi late9sound, Take a look here Leica TL lens adapter. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted June 16, 2018 Share #2 Posted June 16, 2018 No there isn't and can't be; the mounts are too similar in dimensions to make an adapter possible, quite apart from the MFT mount having a 0.25 mm longer register.

FlashGordonPhotography Posted June 17, 2018 Share #4 Posted June 17, 2018 However.... The PanaLeica m43 lenses are excellent. Close to the TL lenses in many ways. Gordon
jaapv Posted June 17, 2018 Share #5 Posted June 17, 2018 That is certainly true. Especially the Summilux 25 is outstanding.
late9sound Posted June 17, 2018 Author Share #6 Posted June 17, 2018 Coming from m43 world, i have had a few Panaleica lens like 8-18mm, 25mm 1.4, while they are nice, the color rendition are no where compare to those with Leica lens that i've been seeing on Flickr'. That's why i want to try 11-23 and/or 55-135 lens on m43 cameras hence my original question. Thanks.
jaapv Posted June 18, 2018 Share #7 Posted June 18, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Not my experience - I find little difference between my DG Summilux 25 and Summilux-M 50 asph regarding colour as rendered by the lens. The main difference lies in the postprocessing of the different raw files, or - even worse - different JPG engines of the cameras. However, I find this an interesting thought. I'll do some proper testing whenever I find time.

Having a way to mount them on the CL would be a nice option, even with the reduced image circle. I think a TL-mount version of the 100-400mm would be a big seller, even with a "pure Leica" price tag attached.

late9sound Posted June 18, 2018 Author Share #13 Posted June 18, 2018 Can you do some smilar comparison but for people skin tone
jaapv Posted June 18, 2018 Share #14 Posted June 18, 2018 You can judge the skintones from the Colorchecker passport. Doing so from actual portraits is highly deceptive, as light and skin texture determine the outcome, which is completely variable. Lens color rendering is unimportant, sensor IR filtering much more so.

jaapv Posted June 18, 2018 Share #16 Posted June 18, 2018 As it's not giving you better pictures perhaps you should sell that Leica CL... Colour rendering of the lenses.mate, all I was commenting on... The CL has nothing to do with it, only a lens-carrier
