A D-Lux 109 metering mode question

May I ask someone who know:

There are three metering modes on the DL 109, for the middle one (Centre Weighted), I'd have two questions not sure about:

1.  How big is this "Centre Weighted" area in relation to the photo framing area?

2.  If this "Centre Weighted" metering area user changeable? (like you could change on the auto focusing area?)

No idea about the DL109 but it works generally the same way as the LX100. Mine behaves the same way as my other cameras i.e. measuring the whole frame and adding 60-80% bias towards the centre. It is not user changeable AFAIK.

I think with what we know about the type 109 now we can treat the LX100 as one and the same. Both are made by Panasonic the only differences being cosmetic.

That Said Ict is correct, I tend to switch between Centre weighted and Spot, I don't think I've ever used the "matrix" metering.

Not exactly. On JPG files, Leica and Panasonic bodies have a different IQ. As usual since Digilux 1 / Panasonic LC5 if memory serves.
