pgk Posted June 2, 2018 Share #1 Posted June 2, 2018 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) We've had it all this year - now torrential rain. In 10 minutes the road I was on was awash. Fortunately it was a short downfall. Anyway here is the top of the Nant Ffrancon just below Ogwen from Telford's A5 just a few hours later. M9 & 21 SEM. Welcome, dear visitor! war Posted June 5, 2018 Share #5 Posted June 5, 2018 Beautiful image. I especially like your rendering of the moving water. While I might upset some photographers, I'm tired of the silken waters done with long exposures that end up looking unreal.
Graham (G4FUJ) Posted June 7, 2018 Share #6 Posted June 7, 2018 Beautiful image... I'm tired of the silken waters done with long exposures that end up looking unreal. I've never liked the long exposure photos. The eye / brain doesn't see moving water like that. None of my waterfall photos have been taken at an exposure longer than approximately 1/2 second. One gets a little movement showing at that shutter speed, but not long white streaks. All (there aren't many and all on film) are pre- my Leica days so I won't post here. Do like that photo Paul
