We've had it all this year - now torrential rain. In 10 minutes the road I was on was awash. Fortunately it was a short downfall. Anyway here is the top of the Nant Ffrancon just below Ogwen from Telford's A5 just a few hours later. M9 & 21 SEM.

Beautiful image. I especially like your rendering of the moving water. While I might upset some photographers, I'm tired of the silken waters done with long exposures that end up looking unreal.

Beautiful image...  I'm tired of the silken waters done with long exposures that end up looking unreal.

I've never liked the long exposure photos.  The eye / brain doesn't see moving water like that.

None of my waterfall photos have been taken at an exposure longer than approximately 1/2 second.  One gets a little movement showing at that shutter speed, but not long white streaks.

All (there aren't many and all on film) are pre- my Leica days so I won't post here.
