However, if I'd turned up to collect the lady who eventually became my wife in such a "rat rod" I think she would never have got to know me! She nearly took the bus home from work one Friday evening when I turned up in a 1937 Morgan F4 3-wheeler. However, by the end of a jaunt out to a favourite National Trust property (Snowshill Manor), lunch in the village and a visit to Hailes Abbey on the way home, she was actually quite enjoying the trip.
