lanetomlane Posted June 17, 2018 Share #4 Posted June 17, 2018 I love the CL as well. However, there is one thing that really annoys me; when the viewfinder gets the slightest bit dirty it fails to change automatically from LCD to EVF, always reverting to EVF. This seems to happen at least once every time I take it out. I do wear specs and have tried various settings but it doesn’t seem to make any difference. All in all the camera, together with the three zones is a great travel package; for the last ten days I’ve been in the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone and it’s covered everything I needed.
cpclee Posted June 21, 2018 Share #5 Posted June 21, 2018 On the SL there is, I think, an EVF “auto on” sensitivity setting. Perhaps there is such a setting for the CL as well? I love the CL as well. I also have the SL and have never had a problem with it. I find it annoying on the CL but no big deal. jaapv Posted July 3, 2018 Share #8 Posted July 3, 2018 We spoke about it during Saturday. It is a known issue. It doesn't bother me, as I have always been anal about keeping my ocular clean. The sensor is in the little window at the top. Use disposable microbrushes to clean it. I think most of the problems arise from the difficulty of cleaning it by a conventional microfiber cloth.

Popular Post digitalfx Posted August 4, 2018 Popular Post Share #10 Posted August 4, 2018 I love my CL too. Just returned from vacation, brought my M10, M7 and CL. The CL was used 90% of the time with the stock 18mm lens. What a great combo, the size makes it a perfect travel camera. After this trip, Ive decided I must add the 23mm again. Ive owned this great lens in the past, but sold it along with the original T years ago. I currently have only the 18mm and 35mm in TL lenses and a M adapter along with all my M glass...but its the 18mm lens that really made the CL my go to camera. Although the 35mm lens is beautiful on the CL...its just too big. Surprisingly staying with the 18mm FL wasn't a limitation, and the images rivaled any taken with the M10, and in many instances looked better. Now off to search for a 23mm. I love my CL. Guest Posted August 15, 2018 Share #12 Posted August 15, 2018 I am smitten also. My CL just arrived today. The improved AF and low light abilities give the zooms a whole new extended use. I can finally zoom the 18-56 in and the AF will work in low light. The AF is so much quicker than the T & even TL2. And that viewfinder... Wow! Great job Leica. Royalpar1 Posted November 25, 2018 Share #16 Posted November 25, 2018 I like your case because you can see the red dot and the beautiful stitching, however my case has the magnetic bottom which opens to change out the SD card and or battery. To me that would be the perfect rig, with it all.
