Michael Geschlecht Posted January 30, 2021 Share #21 Posted January 30, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello Lex, I didn't realize that your filter had the numbers. I thought that with the filters that have numbers that, looking thru the back of the filter, you turn the filter until you see the effect that you want & then look at which number is on top. Such as being 1/3 of the way from 11 to 12. Then put the filter on the lens. And then rotate the filter until that same position, like 1/3 of the way from 11 to 12, is at the top of the filter. And then take the picture. How does it work with the red dot? Best Regards, Michael
Advertisement Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 Hi Michael Geschlecht, Take a look here Swinging pola filters. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
sandro Posted February 1, 2021 Share #22 Posted February 1, 2021 Michael, I think it shows that I haven't used the filter for too many years, since I am clearly mistaken. What you describe is how it works and that's how I have been using it in the past. Upon closer inspection I saw that what I described as a red dot is not a red dot at all, just very tiny screw. Thanks! Best, Lex
