designdog Posted May 11, 2018 Share #1 Posted May 11, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Brand new Leica M-P240 owner here. Just took some photos with the 35 Summicron and am processing them in the latest 2018 version of Camera Raw/Photoshop. Earlier this year Adobe updated Lightroom and Camera Raw and changes the way presets and profiles are used. They also added Adobe profiles - improvements over the traditional "Adobe Standard", etc. Formerly, with my Nikon D5 and Leica Q, I have been using either my own profiles made with ColorChecker, or the new Adobe profiles. Now, with the M-P240, I am seeing Dual M240, M precal PE, and M240 DL - and the equivalent in B&W. Are these coning with the M-P240? Anyone know what they mean? Thanks. Jeff S Posted May 12, 2018 Share #3 Posted May 12, 2018 Older LR versions also had multiple profile choices, but they were less visible down under the camera calibration section. They’re now more obvious and probably better positioned as Adobe recommends users apply controls from top to bottom. But, yes, there are some new options. As Jaap notes, give them a try. There is no right or wrong. Jeff
