It was taken at Bridgnorth Railway Station on the Severn Valley Line https://www.svr.co.uk/ , where they have their workshops (and a Real Ale bar 😊).  Still a working station you can travel as far a Kidderminster and get off and on at the various stations along the way as well as the one which holds their museum.  It's not far to walk into Bridgnorth http://www.visitbridgnorth.co.uk/, which is also very photogenic and both are well worth a visit if you have never been.

Thanks Bob, it did seem vaguely familiar, but just couldn't place it.  Only rode the Severn Valley once, with some Morgan pals, when Tornado visited.  We also had a look around the museum.  I will get back up there sometime.  One of my Morgan tour guide colleagues is a volunteer in C&W.

I had a KONICA VX 400 Super in my 1986 M6  since last CHRISTMAS as I have not used 'LEICA' gear for a long time so I used it up i my Town, BRENTWOOD , England taking the new 'COVID-19 Street Closures. There are barriers at both ends of the High Street and Operators open them for only BUSES and CYCLES !   It's like 'Checkpoint Charlie' in BERLIN ! I used my Canadian Leitz 35mm f1.4 Summilux  and home-processed in C41.

All Saints, Dunterton. Just on the Devon side of the Tamar, an ancient saxon fort turned settlement, the church with large tower. Previously a chantry chapel of Tavistock Abbey. Now a small parish church, in a field, in seemingly the middle of nowhere. Leica M5, Summaron 35mm f2.8 with orange filter, Fomapan 200 at 125 in PMK Pyro.

Nice shot, I've been past that Church many times, only photographed it once though and not on a Leica.

Charles Morgan --  with PMK Pyro do you put the film back into the developer after Alkalie Fixer to get the 'Stain' ?

Hi Elmarman - I don't as a rule - I tried it once and found no real benefit. All the staining I need comes in the developing, and when I get it right, like this one, the negative is almost ethereal. It's a super developer that has rapidly taken over from all others for me.

I had a strip of 2005 dated Konica VX 400 Super  un-scanned since last Christmas, then I had a chance to try a 'PlusTek Optik Film 8200 series scanner' from a Camera Club friend so here is a result --  Storm Trooper in Brentwood !
