Here is my first attempt to develop negatives myself (I did it long time ago in high school, but that doesn't count).

To make it harder, I picked Ilford Delta 100, and I had to use Ilford PQ Universal.

Thus,  I overcooked it a bit, but here is the result:

Gave my 1965 M2 and outing with the 1988 35mm f1.4 Summilux version 2 . Had not used my Leica gear much for a long time -- trying out so many other FREE DONTATED Cameras, then had Bowel Cancer Operation in June and Skin cancer operation in November so not very 'active' Anyway -- I have been experimenting with some old Kodak Tri=X found in fridge, processed in the Crawley's FX-4 Formula ( which he said is very good for 'KODAK' films) diluted 1+1 and gave 12.5 mins @ 20oC. These are scans of PRINTS on 'Jessops VC 7x5 "' paper developed in home-made D72 formula 1+2 with a little 1& Benzotriazole added as paper is also 'Old' !

The Face : saw this as I walked down a passageway to the High Street -- it was on a Bus -- I got off 2 frames then bus moved  1/250 @ f2.5

Shopper : in Brentwood, got him framed up with one attempt. 1/125 @ f1.4

I suppose "Ilford PQ Universal" is a developer... why didi you "have" to use that one??

Do you know what happened to the lower parts (or the side of the negs)? Camera light leak or something else?

I live in Andorra (tiny principality of 75000 citizens). There is only one shop to get chemistry for photography.

Ordering online takes a very long time because mail is hell around here (we don't have our own postal service. It's handled by spanish and french postal services).

I did order some proper developer, but the only available in the shop was PQ Universal.
Since I didn't want to wait 3 to 6 weeks for my order, I used PQ Universal.

Proof with my images that PQ Universal works for negatives. I just have to tweak the settings.
