Thanks for your comment and interest. I use a Zone VI Pentax Spot Meter to overexpose Portra 800 about one stop, paying attention to color and its emotional context. I don't expose for details in shadows and rather let them go dark. This is a pedestrian storefront shot, but the play of reflections and saturated colors, particularly the red door, worked an ironic counterpoint for "time in jeopardy" during a pandemic. Red, as usual, is a cautionary signal. The store next door out of frame is like many stores out of business. And this store is all about merchandising time.
