Angus is indeed a happy though sort of brainless Westie.

My grandfather painted that portrait of his wife’s mother about 1914. (His name is McKendree Robbins Long—search will bring up other paintings, mostly late works, resetting the Book of Revelations in the context of the Cold War....)

Spitfire and Hurricane. 

Both the aircraft in this image were saved by my late father-in-law from being scrapped.  An amazing day in August to finally see them together again, they have both been restored to flying condition.
