Amazing shot! Did you rate it at box speed? How do you meter? And speed of 1/50, what was the aperture? Im so interested in this, shooting studio lights with leica and all its limitation is quite challenging!

Yes rated it at box speed. I meter like I do my digital photos to be honest. I have a PocketWizard on my M10. Host the same settings on the M10 and when I find a balance that I think translates well, replicate it on my MP.

Aperture can be 2.8 - 5.6. If I shoot 2.8 or lower I will lower power on the B1X.

Heading into Manhattan from JFK in March 2013, late afternoon.

M7 & 35mm Zeiss Sonnar-C f/2.8 Portra 400

Almost certainly poorly exposed, the lab scanning gave it an odd comic book effect.

Some Paris photos taken in winter but developed only recently. I really love the "time travel" nature of shooting films and Portra400 brought out the most beautiful winter light.
