It was said the best standatd zoom is 50mm on two feet.

 

35-70mm has a somewhat narrow zoom ratio, the value of zoom is not much, so one may argue the pros of 50mm, but in 5he other hand,the narrow zoom ratio also has the lower um-prime disadvantage. Especially with Leica 35-70mm fr or f2.8
