ropo54 Posted April 8, 2018 Share #1 Posted April 8, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Here are a few photos taken w the R80 1.4 on the Hasselblad X1D. There seems to be little or no vignetting. These were all taken @ f 1.4 with the exception of the last shot, which was @ either f2 or f2.8. Welcome, dear visitor! ropo54 Posted April 9, 2018 Author Share #4 Posted April 9, 2018 (edited) Thanks for your note. The R80 certainly works nicely. The noctilux had lots of vignetting, as did the CV 15mm, as did my old 135mm f4 elmar (1961). (I would love to try the 90mm f2 but I had sold mine awhile back when I acquired the SL zoom). If there was/is vignetting it was minimal to none. There was no cropping to the photo.
LichtUndDunkelheit Posted May 11, 2018 Share #8 Posted May 11, 2018 You have to use the electronic shutter for this, right ? Which means no flash useage, rolling shutter effect, incompatible to artifical light, and possibly also lowered signal to noise. Because the camera has no focal plane shutter and the lens has no central shutter. One of many reasons why I would by far prefer a Fujifilm GFX. ropo54 Posted May 11, 2018 Author Share #9 Posted May 11, 2018 Yes, the electronic shutter must be used. Rob

jaeger Posted October 2, 2018 Share #11 Posted October 2, 2018 Do all medium format cameras need to set the sensor to 35mm format (36x24mm) to use full frame lenses?
mmradman Posted October 2, 2018 Share #12 Posted October 2, 2018 Do all medium format cameras need to set the sensor to 35mm format (36x24mm) to use full frame lenses? Read post #1, little or no vignetting. Some longer M and R lenses have image circle slightly bigger than full frame requirments, enough to cover 33x44mm sensor of either Fuji GFX or Hasselblad X1D Cameras.
