Interesting string photos thread. Like both Martins in particular your '37 000-18 - just beautiful.

You mention your old Gretsch Anniversary -- I very much enjoy the older anniversary models with the filtertrons instead of the hi-low trons.

I mostly went down the electric road - old electrics and old amps --

It was always interesting to me how many people who have photography as a career also play guitar. I have quite a few friends who play.

I bought a secondhand PAESOLD cello bow yesterday to replace a very basic student quality bow:. All photos taken with a handheld Leica C using kitchen window lighting :)

The Leica C is a very handy notebook camera and it has a good macro capability.

this is my favorite of the series. . . it is nicely illuminated and the grain of the wood is very visible....

i would convert to b&w and have a print made to hang in your home...(if it were mine)
