Thanks! Welcome to the "complicated" world of Leica! I am using old MF Nikkor lenses on my CL, as on my T , most of the time. I really enjoy them; the result is very decent.... You can find very cheap MF Nikkor lenses in the Internet, and ,what lens depends on your style of photography. I am not a wild angle user very much I like to have some control on the background. I am not even using 28 mm (which is over 40 mm for asp-c sensor) very often. My favorite lens is my old Nikkor 50 mm, f/1.4. The only adapter for Nikkor lenses is Novoflex. It is not cheap (over $200); but it works well with AI as well as with G Nikkor lenses (Manual and Automatic focusing). The AF lenses become manual with adapter. I heard about some cheaper Asian adapters, but I also heard lots of issues with them; I really don't recommend them... I hope this helps. Best , good luck, Louis PS: btw, T is really a very enjoyable camera that gives very decent shots. Of course, besides its unique and gorgeous looks. andykeen Posted April 12, 2018 Share #3 Posted April 12, 2018 Hi, I have always shot using Nikon gear but recently picked up a used T as it was only going for only £395 so I thought I'd take a punt. I purchased the novoflex adaptor and have been using my Nikon lenses with no probs. Although you may already know, it renders the lenses manual only, but they are a joy to use, my favourite being the 50mm 1.8g, giving amazing results. Will post some picks soon.
blueskyoveraquatic Posted May 17, 2018 Share #4 Posted May 17, 2018 (edited) Novoflex is definitely a great adaptor If you are on a tight budget, you can go with the below adapters: Fotodiox Nikon-Leica M - for $30 @ Adorama & Fotasy Leica M-T - for $12 on ebay search for Fotasy-Leica-M-Leica-T-Adapter-1-Fotasy-Canon-FD-Leica-T-Adapter Then, you can save money for a Novoflex adapter later Dennis Edited May 17, 2018 by blueskyoveraquatic
