dunos Posted March 15, 2018 Share #1 Posted March 15, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) The file linked below can't be read by Lightroom and the camera is not showing a preview when reviewing in play mode. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1x2YdKQmvTLqTCMJkd2p4Jb2tdVJ7sij9 I would normally think that this is an SD Card issue, but I stress tested the SD card including a data verification and had no errors. SD card is a SanDisk Extreme Pro (C10, U3) 32GB and had been formatted in-camera prior to use. I have emailed Leica Mayfair but was wondering if you had any ideas while I await a reply. Camera firmware version is 1.9.4.0 Lightroom is Lightroom Classic CC v 7.

mdemeyer Posted March 17, 2018 Share #5 Posted March 17, 2018 Just curious... I realize it’s not likely, but did you transfer this file by WiFi from camera to iPhone? I have had occasional corrupt .DNG files when using that route.
dunos Posted March 18, 2018 Author Share #6 Posted March 18, 2018 Thank you for the diagnosis and suggestions. I think I will RMA the card with SanDisk. @mdemeyer : I took the card out and used the built in Mac SD card slot. I didn't use the WiFi transfer. dunos Posted March 19, 2018 Author Share #8 Posted March 19, 2018 For the sake of a newbie, wot is RMA? It's actually a term that isn't used so much in consumer sales any more but it stands for "Return Merchandise Authorisation" and it usually means the process you have to go to to get authorisation from the manufacturer/business to return an item for repair or replacement.
