I like the first one much more.

The guitarist is somehow not the target as a photo object. He turns away, wants to be alone. >Let me make my Soulful music!<

 

The line of the guitar is also better in the picture

The whole concert was always a quote to his dad "Luther Allison" and Jimi Hendrix ... and in the first photo he plays a piece by Jimi Hendrix and you can see that!
