Leica M3 box and hangtags

Hello, fellow Leica M fans. I recently came into possession of an original M3 box, and of two original M3 hangtags, each with the camera serial number on them. Does anyone know of a sort of register where I might find the current owners? I would like to give these to the owners, to reunite with the original cameras.
