Advertisement Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 Hi Iainho70, Take a look here The new Voigtlander 40mm 1.2 M lens. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaeger Posted September 5, 2018 Share #42 Posted September 5, 2018 Comparing the 40 f/1.2 to the 35 f/1.2II. They both have minimum focusing distance at 0.5m but the 40 f/1.2 is 155g lighter and 19mm shorter.
gyoung Posted September 12, 2018 Share #43 Posted September 12, 2018 I agree. No frame lines = no buy. On my M6ttl the '35' frame was a pretty good match for a 40mm lens, much morre accurate than for a 35mm. Are the M9, M10 etc closer to 35? Jul Posted September 12, 2018 Share #44 Posted September 12, 2018 With the M9, if you are into landscape, a 40mm is a better match for the frame lines, if you are into intimate close-up, a 35mm would fit better. Can't write about the M10, never used one yet.
Mr.Q Posted September 13, 2018 Share #45 Posted September 13, 2018 According to the folks over at fredmiranda, the 40/1.2 is a bit longer than 40mm (perhaps 42mm).
Ko.Fe. Posted September 13, 2018 Share #46 Posted September 13, 2018 For the size and weight I trust this source. They have lenses in stock. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1378116-REG/voigtlander_ba342a_nokton_40mm_f_1_2_aspherical.html
