You have possibly done this elsewhere; but could you list the selected photos for the exhibit? Would be interesting to know...

I will make an announcement re the dates and location etc for the exhibition shortly. I just need to confirm the time of the launch with Leica Manchester.

 

We have made 77 sales so far, so that's £770 that will be going to the charity.

I received my 12x12 version of the Book in South Africa this PM, slightly irritating that I got charged the equivalent of £68- customs duty and VAT.

 

Nonetheless all worth it, the book is extremely well put together and the quality of work outstanding; I'm very honoured to have my images included.

Hi Andy,

 

Thanks for all the hard work. I have placed the order for the 12 x 12 in version. Unfortunately, I will not be able to visit the Leica Store in Manchester. Now, if this event were to be held last year, I could have made the trip. My wife and I were in London in July to attend my son's convocation. Meanwhile, I have posted the link to the 2018 LUF Book to my FB page as well as several chat groups.

I received my copy last Monday but could only look at it in detail today. In my perception a gallery we certainly don't have to hide, actually very impressive.

We have now sold 81 copies of the book.

 

I was in Leica Manchester on Friday sorting things for the exhibition which will open in just under 4 week’s time. The prints are all in the office waiting to be brought back home. I just need to sort out the labels etc now.

 

And then hang the prints.

I have just received my 12 X 12 copy. ( It was damaged slightly in transit, but Blurb are sorting that out for me.) I know others have commented, but I was really struck by the brilliance of many of the pairings and sequencing. That is indicative of the time, care and imagination of the guy who put it together - Andy, a fantastic job and my thanks. And if others like me have been a bit slow on ordering then get yourself a copy and you won't regret it!

Obviously the quality of the pairings depends on the quality of the 105 shots I had to work with , but I did take care to try to get the book to flow well.

Thanks for the tip. In addition to my 2x12 inch versions, I ordered today the 1x12 inch and 7 inch version again. It's a good thing, after all :-)
