EddieCheddar Posted March 3, 2018 Share #1 Posted March 3, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello. I have a Leica M10, as well as the Electronic View Finder. I have my camera set to go to sleep after so many seconds, and then I just tap the shutter button to wake up the camera (instead of turning the camera on and off). When the camera goes to sleep, so does the EVF. When the camera wakes up, the EVF does not take up (even if I hit the Live View button). In order for me to wake up the EVF, I have to physically take the EVF off of the camera, and then put the EVF back onto the camera. So.... what am I doing wrong? Please help. Thanks in advance! Tailwagger Posted March 3, 2018 Share #2 Posted March 3, 2018 Not sure, mine works fine, camera wakes, EVF wakes. Could be configuration. What's your setting under EVF/Display control -> LV Screen Target? Mine is set to EVF.
pedaes Posted March 3, 2018 Share #3 Posted March 3, 2018 (edited) Welcome to the Forum. Do you leave it in live view when the EVF connected? Is so it should wake up with the EVF on, remembering the shutter has to open which takes a second (live view) when it wakes. madrigalmaster Posted March 3, 2018 Share #4 Posted March 3, 2018 I also have not had any issues with the EVF it seems to work in sinc with the camera on and off times. Luis
pedaes Posted March 3, 2018 Share #5 Posted March 3, 2018 even if I hit the Live View button) Also meant to say, if LV was on when camera went into sleep mode, you will turn off LV and EVF doing this.
