NoctiluxM240 Posted February 24, 2018 Share #1 Posted February 24, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) My Leica M240 has a problem for quite some time, the back display does not turn on occasionally, but remains almost invisible, after a while it comes on normally. I have done any test, reset, battery, lens, firmware, but there are no solutions that I can find. Is it likely to be the faulty display, so do you know how much the replacement could cost? NoctiluxM240 Posted February 24, 2018 Author Share #3 Posted February 24, 2018 How old is the camera? I bought the camera about 2 years ago (but it was used). Now I do not have the box here with me... but I do not think it matters, I have not sent the camera yet to repair for fear of the cost of the repair ...

Send Leica an email (or call) and explain the problem. They may help you. Edited February 25, 2018 by jdlaing
jaapv Posted February 25, 2018 Share #5 Posted February 25, 2018 Repair won't be cheap. The camera has to be dismantled to get at the display.
