Swirko Posted February 24, 2018 Share #1 Posted February 24, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, can you tell me what is wrong with my Leica CL + Summicron-T 23 mm f/2 DNG files? http://swirko.lh.pl/leica/L1000103.DNG http://swirko.lh.pl/leica/L1000103.JPG Look at the DNG pixelization and gradation. The image is destroyed. Do you know why? Is it normal? Do I have to upload firmware to repare it?

jaapv Posted February 24, 2018 Share #2 Posted February 24, 2018 The only thing I can see is that it is snowing and bad light. What software are you using? Welcome, dear visitor! lct Posted February 24, 2018 Share #3 Posted February 24, 2018 Don't see any problem besides little dirt spots on your sensor.
jaapv Posted February 24, 2018 Share #4 Posted February 24, 2018 I suspect the OP is using some software that shows the embedded JPG.
FeralCoton Posted February 25, 2018 Share #5 Posted February 25, 2018 I’d guess there is dust on the lens. I couldn’t see the dng, but since the jpeg is derived from it I don’t see how that dng can be affected. The gradation in upper left looks like lighting in an overcast day Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
jaapv Posted February 25, 2018 Share #6 Posted February 25, 2018 No, that is snow falling Dust on the lens will, at worst, and you need a lot of dust, reduce contrast a bit.
