elcapeetan Posted February 22, 2018 Share #1 Posted February 22, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just purchased a Leicaflex Mark 2 over the internet and when I look thru the viewfinder I only see the one straight needle and not the other needle with the circular opening at its end. Have I purchased a defective camera or am I doing something incorectly? Thank you.

Michael Geschlecht Posted February 23, 2018 Share #2 Posted February 23, 2018 (edited) Hello Elcapeetan, Welcome to the Forum. Is it possible that the shutter speed dial is turned to the end in 1 direction or the other & therefore the "lollipop" rod is not readily visible? What happens when you turn the shutter speed dial from the highest to the lowest speed & then back & forth a number of times? The same with the aperture adjustment ring on the lens? Also: Is the film advance lever flat against the camera body or is it in the "stand off" position?
