dancook Posted February 20, 2018 Share #1 Posted February 20, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) I had forgotten about the AF assist lamp.. But with all the low light AF issues I have with this camera, I thought perhaps I should give it the smallest consideration. So I try it out, and wonder to myself - maybe Leica forgot about it to.. Which lens do you think it would be most useful for? the 24-90? Ok the hood of the 24-90 completely blocks the AF assist lamp, take off the hood and the light illuminates the top left portion of the viewfinder almost reaches the centre of the frame. The new 75mm is a lot smaller, with the hood on the light is in the top left and comes to about the centre. Without the hood it reaches a bit further. I thought it a little amusing
