bags27 Posted February 23, 2018 Author Share #21 Posted February 23, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Makes sense. I got a pack of 2, so, ironically, although I bought them Monday, they were the older kind, I guess. Nice thing about Boston: everything new is really old. Advertisement Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 Hi bags27, Take a look here 2 minor questions before I buy. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Macberg Posted February 24, 2018 Share #22 Posted February 24, 2018 I have been using a screen protector from atFolix, the crystal clear version, on all my cameras for years. I buy it for 5 Euro (3 pieces) at Amazon. The atFolix is invisible, but protects against scratches. I have had the same experience - atFolix fits perfectly.
bullmoon Posted March 2, 2018 Share #23 Posted March 2, 2018 I got 2 in my pack - matte finish. I replaced it with some off-brand from Amazon that also included an EVF protector - and that set also came as a two pack. It looks much better and is clear. Why Leica decided to go matte is beyond me. Gets rid of glare I suppose, but otherwise terrible. The staff of Leica Singapore told me the "newer" version of Leica screen protectors are matt type. They are sold in single piece pack. The "older" version of Leica screen protector are clear type. They are sold in pack of 2.Same pricing, so you can say clear version is cheaper, provided you need 2?I use third party screen protector at very affordable prices - generally below EURO 6/- each.
