Vieri Posted February 11, 2018 Share #2 Posted February 11, 2018 Great documentation shot Andy, beautiful aurora - wow the M240 is noisy though, and I seem to show quite a heavy banding as well. What ISO was this taken at?Best regards, Vieri

andybarton Posted February 11, 2018 Author Share #4 Posted February 11, 2018 The noise and banding is a problem, but photographing the Aurora was pushing the camera beyond its comfort zone.
Bill W Posted February 12, 2018 Share #5 Posted February 12, 2018 Despite the noise, it is a wonderful shot.

andybarton Posted February 17, 2018 Author Share #8 Posted February 17, 2018 On a trip to Tromso in Norway a couple of years ago, after a great weekend with our very good friends in Oslo. We were very, very lucky and had about 5 hours of aurora to marvel at before we had to go back to the city. This spot is an hour or so north. Highly recommended.
