ynp Posted February 8, 2018 Share #1 Posted February 8, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) https://sinar.swiss/news-2-en-us/prom1-en-us/promotions/promotion-scsadapter/ It’s possible to order the adapter now for your central shutter S lenses. From the newsletter: The Sinarback S 30|45 was primarily designed for the use with view cameras, and technical cameras. With the auxiliary of the Sinar S-CS Adapter, now this digital back can also be combined with the optically excellent Leica S Lenses (CS) and thus use the Sinarback in a flexible manner in the studio as well as on location.

erlingmm Posted February 8, 2018 Share #4 Posted February 8, 2018 (edited) S mirrorless. Great pictures! What was the set-up? Do I understand correctly that you now can use the S as the "back" of the Sinar, and the S lenses on the Sinar. Would this be a tech cam kind of set-up? ynp Posted February 8, 2018 Author Share #5 Posted February 8, 2018 (edited) Interested if an iPhone can work as a live view viewfinder without tethering to the computer. This combination can be controlled in several ways: It can be operated directly on the Sinarback S 30|45 or conveniently remote-controlled via USB cable or via WLAN by the capture and workflow software Sinar CaptureFlow. Furthermore, it can also be operated without a computer via the Sinarback App on a mobile phone (iOS). Is beginning to look like a new Modular CAmera, not far away from the concert of the great Sinar-М, with a real time live view/video and solid color management ☘️[emoji253][emoji254][emoji285][emoji272][emoji260][emoji336][emoji327][emoji956][emoji985][emoji986][emoji986][emoji986][emoji558][emoji904][emoji905]add the multishot on a top all and suddenly it’s great studio camera capable to be used outside. For still and videos And if the Leica soo7 at last can work with the CaptureShop and Capture Flow it will have its own Dng converter and can be tethered without Lightroom pipeline. Hahahaha sweet! I heard a rumor that Sinar sold their stock of the arTech shift and tilt architecture cameras and preparing a new live of view tech camera for fotokina. If that's the case I think Leica's super thin sensor cover and its color profiles will be quite competitive, even at 37.5 mega pixel, it will most likely have less problem with color cast than those 50mp sensor when shifted.
