Price aside - aren't the new SL 75mm and SL 90mm a great portrait lenses TL/CL owners hoped for? Is there any disadvantage of them being for SL except price and size? Do you think quality and AF performance will match TL/CL lenses? I think it should. Also, for SL owners there's a huge advantage - well, it's an SL lens So i.e. owning SL50 and SL90 would give you four high performance high quality choices: 50mm, 75mm (50 mounted on TL/CL), 90mm and 135mm (90 mounted on TL/CL) FOV. (I had wondered about also acquiring the SL 75 but really find no need to, particularly as I also have the 24-90 and a R 80 1.4). I think I would opt for the 50 1.4 in lieu of one of the TL lenses were I intending on a portrait and had it as an option. I really do not mind the size either. Welcome, dear visitor!
