SL & Profoto B1 curtain

Hi Ingo, thanks for the reply. Is that a camera limitation, or what? I've seen YouTube videos where people are shooting freeze shots on a very high shutter speeds and I just wondering how can I achieve that. Please note that this is just my hobby, and I'm not a photographer. I've shooting with bare camera without flashed and lights for about a year and I just added two lights and the game totally changes, so I'm exploring it now.

Profoto just offers HSS enabled Air-Remote triggers for Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Olympus and Sony. And a built in solution for Phase One (included in the XF-Body).

I'm not sure if they are not allowed to offer a dedicated Leica version or if they are just not interested in Leica because it's a relatively small brand.

It's a pity because Profoto is state of the art and Leica's marketing speech says that the SL is targeting professionals. I really hope that they will close this gap some day.

The whole 'flash' topic is not tackled seriously within the company.

Exactly. SL being probably the only professional camera not able to natively work with Profoto (Nikons, Canons, recently also Fuji, Sony and as you say but I didn't knew Olympus and Hasselblad in a way). And TL2 being probably the most expensive camera ever not able to work with remote lights as a main light source at all (due to lack of PASM/PAS option CL and SL and probably every single mirrorless have). You could probably find few examples which disprove what I wrote here, but I guess there will only be 1) few of them and 2) they'll be from 1953 or so ;) Problem remains
