jimofnyc Posted January 31, 2018 Share #1 Posted January 31, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am happily clicking away with my new M10 but I would like to make some changes with the camera's "Live View" function. I can't find anything in the menus to get the camera to do what I want. Right now the camera's live view is on continuously when I start up the camera. OK, that's not so bad, I can turn it off or back on with the LV button but I'd like the live view to stay on for a few seconds after I take a picture and then go out until I partially depress the shutter button to turn it back on again for composition purposes prior to taking another picture. Is this possible with the M10? It would save battery life. Thanks in advance, Jim
Advertisement Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 Hi jimofnyc, Take a look here EVF - I want to make changes. Can I?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
a.noctilux Posted January 31, 2018 Share #2 Posted January 31, 2018 No, you must push the LV button on/off, "delayed on" not possible with present firmware. What you want may be coming with future version if Leica have demand for that.
chris_tribble Posted February 1, 2018 Share #3 Posted February 1, 2018 Are you confusing between image preview and Live View (which is for image capture)? re Live View, I have two presets stored in Profiles 1. Is for OVF has LV always off. 2. This is for when I'm using the EVF and allows LV activation + Zone Metering. re Preview - my preference is for this to be set Autoreview to OFF. That way I only chimp when I need to. An alternative would be to use the HOLD option with Autoreview. This lets you check an image all the time that the shutter release is held down. Hope this helps clarify.
