Cotopaxi is the world's tallest active volcano. Had you climbed for a bit you might have been able to brag to friends that you were in a blizzard on the equator. Laguna de Limpiopungo is huge and quite beautiful but because it is easily accessible many families go there on Sundays. The tranquil appearance of this field on the north is deceiving, It is at a much higher elevation and requires a bit of effort to access. I just found this nice shot of Biarritz. My internet connection has been acting up, got it fixed yesterday.
