I am not very knowledgeable about the connection  of a flash  on a camera as I am rarely using a flash. I am trying to find a flash (other than Leica flashes) that would work on CL, as CL has the same hot shoe as the Leica Q. 

 

Would this mean that any flash with the same disposition of the hot shoe Pins shown in the picture could work on Q?

I wish there was an "adapter" or "converter" that you could use between any flash and the leica hot shoes. They make such converters for other brands and I wonder if there is any for Leica?
