Sorry for my ignorance but what is LKB? :)

LKB = Leica Koolaid Brigade - Folks that feel that Leica is the Great Red Dot God, can do no wrong, that if you have a problem it is you not Leica that is at fault. Always defending the status quo.

Rand ...... I have trawled ...... or should I say trolled your posts .... and as you clearly have nothing constructive to say or the slightest interest in Leica, would you not be better spending your time on a forum which has cameras you actually like ?

Until Leica gets service turn around times to days or weeks for non-warranty repairs down from MONTHS, until Leica spends money on cutting edge R & D instead of on "boutique hotels", until Leica gets consistency of menus across product lines, printed documentation minus the German scattered in English manuals, lets digital photographers keep their shutter open via Bulb as long as THEY desire, until a company that has ONE PERCENT or less of the overall market can produce cameras that one can buy at product announcement instead of seven months later and many more things - I fully intend to be part of the forums.

I suggested that the LKB save their fingers, but still they persist.

No constructive response to Leica shortcomings, its all the persons fault, not Leica's. Kinda sad really.

Love the lenses, the company not so much.

Please note that implying that other forum members, and Leica the company are stupid is contrary to forum rules. Critique by all means, but visiting the forum for bashing or trolling purposes is not acceptable.

I’ll post an example later. It works in a different way than other programs as it actually shifts pixels instead of enhancing contrast. Hard to describe, I would call the effect -when overdone- embossed. With a bit of luck, it can save a shot.

As I am on skiing holiday right now, I have very limited WiFi

I went to take the typical grotty restaurant shot. As you can see it is (among a lot of other things) soft.

100% show that it is  motion blur (note the highlights tracks in the glass.

Using the highlights to determine the direction of the blur, I increased Focus Magic strength until they were spots.

If I wanted to refine the result, I could select the eyes and remove the remaining vertical blur.

It is certainly much better than what I experienced with PS. Acceptable in my book.
