I just bought a focomat 1c in wonderful condition, but without negative carrier. I know thats not a good thing but I don't know how they look like even. Does anyone have a picture so I know what to look for?

Thank you, but I tried all day to google, but there's so many different to choose from. My focomat is the newer with the grayish egg shaped head with white base. Is it this one 00aE82-455347684.jpg

Yes. I think for the focomat 1c the standard negative carrier is the same for all vintages. The one in the picture certainly looks like mine.

I think so too.  There are other negative carriers by Leica for the Focomat 1c around, but dickgillberg most likely wants the one that already has been mentioned.  Simply because the others are apparently used for special purposes (bigger formats or correcting distortion etc) or are to be used with single 36×24mm negatives (instead of film strips).
