Your first two shots seem to have a quality and feeling not present in this last shot.  The composition is lovely in all three.

Just had my new monochrom m246 for a couple of weeks, here it is with a Zeiss ZM 50 f.14 which gives a soft look that I like.

I second that - Swiftybilko - such a beautiful photograph of the Sax player!

Mind you there is a LOT of conversation on these pages about the flare issue of the Summicron - your portrait simply displays that the flare issue is not an issue at all but very much a beautiful touch to an otherwise already wonderful photograph!

First shots with my new M246 and the Tri-Elmar - this is a total different animal than the M9 and I have a lot to learn! :-)

Hi Swifty,

 

Thanks.  The M246 files at ISO 3200 are impressive.  I'm using the MM1.  In the 1st image, the overall composition, mood, and detail in the curtain and the piano are spot on.
