garysamson Posted December 23, 2017 Author Share #5 Posted December 23, 2017 Is it possible to see the other work? I would be happy to share more images of Hayley but my understanding of rules here are that only images made with Leica equipment can be posted here and much of the work is made on film with a view camera. Bill W Posted December 23, 2017 Share #6 Posted December 23, 2017 Perhaps you could post one from your view camera as a comparison shot to one from your Leica.

geetee1972 Posted December 26, 2017 Share #12 Posted December 26, 2017 (edited) Two more portraits of Hayley.Attached Images The first of those two images reminds me of this Lucien Freud portrait (and not simply because of the exposed breast but rather because of the toning). photophile Posted December 30, 2017 Share #14 Posted December 30, 2017 (edited) Outstanding series. Beautifully composed, lit and crafted - of a stunning model. Google being what Google is...you are an impressively talented artist and teacher, Gary. Some stunning accomplishments and dedication to the craft and your students. Well done. You are perhaps a bit less kind to fruit flies however Best, Coos Edited December 30, 2017 by photophile

fotografr Posted January 3, 2018 Share #16 Posted January 3, 2018 With the latest post, I just don't know how it gets any better. That is one superb portrait. The others are as well, but that one has it all--perfect expression, perfect composition, excellent light.
hoppyman Posted January 3, 2018 Share #17 Posted January 3, 2018 A very compelling and appealing portrait. Wonderful work.
Dario Antonaci Posted January 3, 2018 Share #18 Posted January 3, 2018 Very nice photos. But to be honest, the skin tones of the first one are outstanding, i think it's a shame you didn't use these settings on the nude one. that one would look MUCH better in natural colors IMO. garysamson Posted January 4, 2018 Author Share #19 Posted January 4, 2018 Very nice photos. But to be honest, the skin tones of the first one are outstanding, i think it's a shame you didn't use these settings on the nude one. that one would look MUCH better in natural colors IMO. Thanks. That portrait of Hayley was made on black and white film so color was not an option.
Bateleur Posted January 5, 2018 Share #20 Posted January 5, 2018 Wonderful series with good poses and lighting. Hayley seems a very gracious and lovely model and the long term shooting relationship looks to be resulting in very natural feeling portraits.
