From what I can tell without seeing one in real life yet- it appears to be made of a high density plastic like Acetal. I have made and sold some thumb grips and bottom plates for Sony camera's and I'm considering one for the CL.. But unfamiliar with the Leica crowd, are you all hardcore "Leica Only" products?
